One of my favorite places to visit when staying in the Palm Desert area. Big Morongo has wooden
pathways and open platforms that make for easy walking and good nature viewing. As you first drive into the park you
will see the Preserve Host and bird feeders on your left. Sit for a while and watch. Then go to the Kiosk and get your easy
to read map and hit the trails! Bring your bug spray in the spring and Summer. Not just for birdwatchers. I have brought
several friends here that are not birdwatchers and they loved it too!
