Something for everyone at The Living Desert. Make sure to dress comfortable, put on a hat, bring the binoculars, and plan to spend the day. You will see many wild birds native to the desert as you walk through the park. What makes the
Living Desert such a unique animal park is the natural landscape and habitat that is similar to that found in Africa. Make
sure to pass through the African village(Village WaTuTu), grab some lunch at the snack bar, and sit under the palm thatched
patio. It's a great place to relax, cool off under the misters and hear the local natives, which could be you, playing
the drums! Things
you can experience: •Many desert garden walking trails, •Eagle Canyon with many wild cats, •Gecko Gulch play-yard for the kids , •Feed the Giraffes at 10am (get there early to line up), •Visit the
Wildlife Hospital, •Large outside LGB Model Train Display, •Butterfly
exhibit (October - April), •Amphibian Exhibit, •San Andreas Fault Line walking trail.
