Williamsburg is beautiful in the fall.  The wonderful thing about bird watching is that you can do it anywhere! My husband and I took my mother to Williamsburg in the Fall and of course, I brought my camera and binoculars to catch some feathered friends along the way. I wasn't disappointed. Everyday as we walked up and down the historic streets of Williamsburg I saw many different types of birds. A mockingbird called out and lead us to a side street where we found a stunning hidden garden. I would recommend going down several side streets like Nicholson St. to see even more birds. I just couldn't get enough of the woodpeckers. They were everywhere. Before you go, check out the Williamsburg Birding Hot Spots on the "Williamsburg Bird Club" web site.
